The short version: the tools work entirely in your browser, and nothing you enter into them is sent anywhere.
What you enter
Tooth measurements, ages, sample values, fossil key answers, ticked checklists and chosen animals stay on your device. They are worked out by scripts in the page and are never uploaded, logged or shared. The site makes no network requests of its own once a page has loaded.
Analytics
Fossil Wharf uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type, paste or tick in the tools. The site itself sets no cookies and has no advertising or trackers.
What is stored on your device
If you choose light or dark mode with the theme button, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name fossilwharf-theme, so the next page opens the same way. Nothing else is stored. Choosing Auto removes it, and clearing your browser's site data does too.
